Rapids (and Crew): The Intra-Conference Situation
By: Jeff | March 7th, 2008Sorry if this looks a little half-assed, but I posted a piece on Center Holds It as part of my project in comparing the fate/progress of the Colorado Rapids versus the Columbus Crew.
The gist of the latest effort is determining which team has the better chance at making the 2008 post-season given the comparative strengths and weaknesses of their respective conference rivals.
For those looking to save time, I give the Rapids a better chance – by far, even – than the Crew. Hell, I think I give the Rapids a fair crack. Anyway, click the link for the extended version. It’s not totally penciled out, but there’s enough in there to talk about.
