All Day and Night, this Rapids Partay Wont Stop
By: Clint | June 22nd, 2007For folks obsessed with American Soccer, it’s hard to beat what the Rapids are offering tomorrow. Instead of rehashing all the games and promotions that will be going down at the Dick tomorrow (how’s that one, Laurie?), here’s a hasty copy-and-paste job:
Game #1 and Women’s Soccer Clinic
Women’s Soccer Celebration: Saturday’s match will also feature a special doubleheader: the Colorado Rapids are going to host a W-League women’s game and women’s soccer clinic before their match. The game will feature the Fort Collins Force and the Mile High Edge and will kick off at 3:15 p.m. inside the stadium at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park. Following that game is a 5:15 clinic with members of both teams. Tickets for both this match and the Rapids’ game vs. FC Dallas, which kicks off at 7 p.m., start at $15 and tickets for both games and the clinic start at $35. Call (303) 825-GOAL for more details or to sign up for the clinic!
Price Package
Rocky Mountain News Family Night Package: Saturday’s game also features the Rocky Mountain News Family Night package: fans can get 4 tickets, 4 hot dogs and 4 sodas, starting at only $69! To order your Family Night package for this game, call the Rapids at (303) 825-GOAL.
Game #2
Colorado Rapids play some team from a city called… Dallas? I thought that was a TV show. Does that J.R. fella play in goal?
Promotion
Free Team Poster Giveaway: The Rapids will hand out free team posters to the first 5,000 fans into the stadium on Saturday! Get there early to ensure you get your poster, perfect for getting autographed by the Rapids squad! Don’t miss out on one of the most highly sought-after giveaways of the year!
Game #3
Postgame Battle of the U-17’s: The Colorado Rapids U-17 squad will take on the Colorado Rush U-17’s in a full exhibition match following the Rapids game! Starting at 9:15pm, the match will feature a full 90 minutes, and is open and free for ticket holders to stay and watch. Check out the future stars of the Rapids’ first team as they get their first chance to play inside Dick’s Sporting Goods Park!
