As for Osorno, I don't have a lot of hope for him in 2007. He showed up a tad overweight and hasn't exactly lit things up since he had some serious injuries a few years back. As for the fans not giving out big boos on the signing, we can't because we really don't know much about this guy. My fear is that he's going to turn out to be the Mexican Mathis. And we all know how well things went for Cleatus during his time with the Rapids. The Rapids are scarred to spend money on most anything, let alone a DP.

Anytime a player comes in and isn't met with violent barfing sounds by the fans is a good sign. There is a severe lack of players who can beat their defender(s) or can set up a play near goal, so hopefully Osorno can either assist in that dept or make himself a better target in the box than guys like Brown have been this season.
