		<description>Thanks for the catch on Sir Alex, Ian.  I haven&#039;t been current on my European soccer, never mind Scottish, in forever.  And I have to admit, I&#039;m underwhelmed by MacManus&#039; resume.  Here&#039;s to hoping the Rapids don&#039;t lose out on the contest to Buy the Better Scot...&#039;cause that might not be the only one they lose.</description>

		<description>Now, generally, I&#039;m a big fan of any Scot coming to the US.  For example, RSL&#039;s move for Kenny Deuchar is a great one, I think.  Tam MacManus is an entirely different matter.  Dunfermline has been painful to watch for well over a year now, and MacManus has been a pretty disappointing player in Scotland.  I hope he&#039;s better in the MLS, but I&#039;m skeptical.

PS - Sir Alex made his name at Aberdeen, not Dundee.</description>
