Rapids Need a Win vs. RSL Tomorrow
By: Clint | September 21st, 2007If they want to bypass Chicago for the 8th spot in the playoffs. Now, before giving up all hope, remember that Colorado did beat the second worst team in MLS (RSL) earlier this season - so it’s not impossible! Boy, are my standards low at this point.
Plus, Colorado will move into 8th position if they win this weekend… until Chicago plays and wins their next game, that is.
So, let’s support the Rapids this weekend, hope Chicago loses out, and then root for anarchy in the playoffs and a Colorado upset of DC in the first round. Maybe that will be enough to convince league officials that the playoffs system does not work for soccer.

Actually, IIRC, RSL is still the worst team in the league based on points per game. LA still has 3 or 4 in hand over them.
