Rapids Reserves Beat Chicago’s
By: Clint | April 17th, 2007In a game that, by description, confuses and frightens me, the Colorado Rapids reserve team (which looks suspiciously like the first team) bee-aht the Fire reserves, 1-0. Jordan Harvey got the lone goal, but he was not the only shooter in the game. Jovan Kirovski and Roberto Brown also played (I guess since neither played the full game on Sunday) and although I did not see the reserves play, I’m reasonably sure Brown fell down several times, hacked a few Fire reserves down, and slipped while standing 5 feet in front of an empty goal with the ball at his feet.
The worst part about not seeing this game? MISSING KEEL! Since he has yet to take his rightful place as captain of the ‘A Team’, I’ve gotta be content with reading his name on a reserves’ match report (usually without a number in parenthesis next to it). Other notable players for the Rapids reserves in this game - Zach Thornton, Jose Cancela, and Chris Wingert.
