Rapids wird eines Spiel mit Deutche Fussballverein Borussia Mönchengladbach Plannen
By: Kyle | April 23rd, 2008That’s the best I’ve got. I took German for three years and barely passed, so that’s as close as I can come to happily informing you that the Rapids are finally jumping in on the MLS tradition of hosting major foreign clubs on their preseason tours in friendly matches. Nice catch by wewantrapidman noticing this in the New York Times.
Borussia Mönchengladbach is a five-time Bundesliga champion club from Mönchengladbach. They actually are a second division club which was relegated after a particularly bad season last year (6-20-8). But they’re doing quite well this year and are in first place, six points ahead with five matches to go. They’re planning on getting back into the Bundesliga next year, and are looking to start the year with a US preseason tour. This is reportedly a result of the MLS-Bundesliga partnership that apparently started last year. Honestly, I never heard of it, but if it gets stuff like this done, cool.
This should be good. The match will take place sometime during July 13-23. I’m looking forward to seeing another big club hosted by Dick’s. And according to Terry Cooke, MLS’s quality is about that of high European second division/low first division, so who knows? They might get a win against them. This is one more match I will definitely be attending.

You should have remembered to put your adjective in dative since it was following the word “mit”.
