Terry Cooke is the #1 Crosser (For Now)
By: Clint | April 12th, 2007Until he’s shoved back into obscurity again (by the same guy, no less!), Terry Cooke is impressing Jeff Bradley at MLSnet who writes:
Terry Cooke hits the best crosses in the league. Colorado fans got on me pretty good when I named my best crossers list a few weeks back, but I’m on board with their claim that no one in the league hits a better cross than Terry Cooke. Two assists in week one puts Cooke right on the same trail he blazed a year ago as the league’s leading assist man. Roberto Brown also looks like a nice new target for the Rapids, who also win points for a dandy new uniform. Go back in my archives and see how hard I used to push for MLS teams to add some white shorts to their dark top kits. Well done.
Well done, indeed! Now get a proper haircut!

My eyes have skimmed across this headline three or four times now. And EVERY SINGLE TIME my brain has read: “Terry Cooke is the #1 Cross-Dresser.”
Why do you think this is?

Oh yeah, that was the original headline. I altered it after about 6 hours to mess with everyone’s minds. Sorry about that!
