Webcast for Tonight’s Game
By: Clint | August 7th, 2007The Lamar Hunt US Open continues tonight for Colorado as the team faces the Seattle Sounders at Qwest Field. No TV that I’m aware of for this game, but the official Rapids website says we’ll be able to see the game online here.
After ten straight MLS games without a win it will be nice to enjoy a game where the Rapids at least have a chance at coming out on top. Although with Colorado averaging .5 goals a game over that winless streak, all Seattle should need to do is get one goal to win. When the hell is that Arsenal “partnership” going to reap some freakin benefits??? Can’t someone kidnap Fabregas and get him out onto the field here?

Sounders are SO going to kick some Crapid butt tonight. And I will be there enjoying every second of it.
Oh, and Lucas? This wouldn’t have anything to do with the fact that we sent your sorry behinds back to Portland two rounds ago, would it?

Just got back from the game.
Dude. You suck. No offense.
Seriously, though, it breaks my heart to see a USL team putting together such beautiful, controlled, attacking football when my MLS team can’t put together a scoring run to save their lives. If we had relegation/promotion based on current play, Sounders would be coming up and LA would be going down.
Would this be a bad thing?

I’m with you, Laurie. At least the Galaxy has been picking up good/great (in comparison with other MLS players) names this season so there is some hope for the future. I’d actually look forward to a relegation for Colorado this season as it would give us a chance to watch new teams next year - it’s not like we’re going to see Beckham play when LA visits the Dick anyway.
And you’re spot on about the Sounders - fantastic team yesterday. It was nice to see a team playing that well in America (who wasn’t on a pre-season money-making tour).
