What on Earth do the Rapids Have to Do with Barcelona?

By: Clint | May 21st, 2007

Well, for a time both WERE the head of their respective tables and now are not (well, kind of. La Liga rules are a little American-ish in that regard). And then there’s… well… I guess there is…

Ok, ok. I guess there isn’t much we have in common. But still, I’m bored of 1-1 games, so instead of writing about the Rapids today, I wrote about my second favorite team in the world, FC Barcelona (thanks, Isaiah, for hosting and for dealing with the almost certain torrent of abuse your blog will take thanks to having me write on it).

Thanks, BMer! You’re a real fan!

Clint: you’re right about how American the “head-to-head” thing in La Liga is. So stupid…what’s the point of goal differential if it doesn’t affect anything? I hate it, personally…so I’m making my own league table and putting Barcelona at the top. Woohoo!

I am a real fan, if i wasn’t i wouldn’t have found this blog that really doesn’t inform me on much about the Rapids.

in fact, they’ve played about 100 games since the last game recap or take on how they’re doin this season.

why is this even considered a Rapids blog?

    Hi BMer,

http://www.coloradorapids.com/ will give you scores and stats if you want to know how the Rapids are doing this season. By the way, Colorado won 1-0 yesterday. If you need me to tell you the scores of any other games (I know how difficult it is to find that kind of information on the internet) just let me know.
