Will the Rapids Cause Fabregas to Leave Arsenal?
By: Clint | June 5th, 2007That is what I call a “title designed to suck in readers with a slightly misleading concept”!
However, as reported in several sources already, the logic flows thusly:
1) Stan Kroenke (who owns the Rapids) appears to want Arsenal as his own
2) David Dein (who was vice chairman of Arsenal until very recently) appears to support Kroenke and is pissed that the rest of the Arsenal owners aren’t going along with the program
3) Dein left/was booted from the Arsenal board as a result of this conflict
4) Dein is buddy buddy with Arsene
5) Arsene is making it sound like he’s gone after next season due to Dein leaving (if I’m following it all correctly)
6) And now, Cesc Fabregas is saying if Wenger leaves, Fab is outta there, too.
Whew. If all this does come to pass, can I be the first to offer up Beckerman for the Gunners, Trent?

Losing Fabs would ruin Arsenal more than if Henry leaves. Things are not good over there right now, compared to the other big spenders in the EPL.
